Its been going well at the new barn. Im very happy there. I miss the bog, but I think I can get over it. I like having my own students at the new barn because that makes me feel comfortable and secure, and i like the news ones I have acquired because they really test my skills as an instructor.

the horses are pretty badass.

the people are the coolest bunch i have come acorss in a long time.

and I am the Head Trainer, and carry something like 40 students weekly.

Celebrated Halloween in Sarasota, just off Ringling's campus, at the "Compound's Halloween Party."

I've never been to an actual- college party party... So it was an experience. I met a lot of new faces and networked a bit, since a hefty chunk of the party-goers were from the school. And the whole night's admission was free, since I wasn't drinking. Extra bonus, there.

It was really done up simulate a haunted house, and left quiet a visual impression. There was a massive assembly of people to fill in every gap with an even larger surrounding perimeter, complete with multiple food and beverage shanties, one dance-floor and a bonfire.

Yes. Bonfire. In Florida.

All in all it was interesting to spend a night as 'someone else', mingling with faces I didn't know. Hopefully I'll remember it for years to come.

Aside from that- I'm re-reading the entire kusatta kyoushi no houteishiki series over at mangafox.com. I really treasure that manga and how it's over-all theme sinks in and moves the reader.

Seriously getting the urge to attempt fanart of it.
...Or make all my icons of Masayoshi.

We'll see.

I want to thank everyone for having patience with me last month. I realize that not everyone knows how I get in October, so my actions may have seemed alarming, and I'm sorry for anyone that had to deal with me being unpleasant. This year was particularly difficult, not only from the weather cooling earlier than it has been- but because it took me up until October to finally mourn the loss of my 'aunt' who passed over the summer. Losing Sheba right before that, I spent a lot of time mourning her, and we've spent the last two months with Carl and Faith a lot - helping it to finally sink in that Grace is gone, and this time she's really not coming back.

It's not an excuse for the way I acted, the fact that my birthday fell on a Wednesday again this year is not an excuse for the way I acted, dealing with my brother and finally having that sink in is no excuse for how I acted, and having lost a friend recently is not an excuse for how I acted.

I'm still kind of wary to interact with people, so don't be surprised if I disappear from here or AIM for a bit, again. I just thought some people might like to know that I'm not ... dead.


I'll also be busy with Nano, so all the more reason to expect me to be around less than usual.
